  • It was published on the website of Punch Newspaper of 5th July, 2012 that the licenses of some private universities have been suspended by the NUC. For avoidance of any doubt, please take NOTICE that Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) is not among the affected universities.

    The semblance in the word BABALOLA notwithstanding, Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) is totally different and distinct from Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU).

    The approval granted by NUC to Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in respect of all the programmes and courses remains intact and valid. Further note that the Post UTME examination for admission into all programmes in the University 2012/2013 academic session will hold as scheduled on Saturday, 7th July, 2012.

    This public notice becomes imperative because of numerous inquiries by concerned parents and members of the public due to the similarity in the name of AFE BABALOLA UNIVERSITY, ADO-EKITI (ABUAD) and JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA UNIVERSITY (JABU) AT IKEJI, ARAKEJI, OSUN STATE.

    The public should please take note.
