  • The management of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri invites prospective students who made Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education , Owerri (affiliated to UNN) their 1st choice Institution most preferred(University degree programmes) and /or 2nd choice Institution most preferred (University degree programme) and scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are invited to the screening exercise for the degree programme of the college.

    In the same vein all candidates who scored 160 and above are invited for the college’s NCE programme.

    How to get registered for the test
    The sale of scratch cards for the 2012/2013 Post-UTME screening exercise commenced on Monday, June 4th 2012 through Monday, June 18th 2012. 

    The online application and result checking scratch cards are available at the following outlets.
    1. Alvana Micro Binace Bank, AIFCE Owerri
    2. Diamond Bank Plc, Orlu Road branch Amakohia
    3. First Bank Plc, Bank Road Owerri
    4. Zenith Bank Plc, Bank Road Owerri
    5. Garden park Business Centre

    On payment of N1000 screening fee and N2000 for processing, you will receive two (2) scratch cards one for online registration and the other for result checking. 
    Information for login is at the back of the cards (or visit www.aifce.edu.ng and click on P-UTME online Application, click on register to complete the form). 
    While filling the form, keep your Original 2012 JAMB Result Slip handy (a href="http://www.myschoolcomm.com/school/admission-support/official-jamb-result-slip/">Get the JAMB SLIP here) as you are required to fill in your UTME registered Institutions and courses only. 
    Pls do not make any changes or new choices as this may affect your chances of getting admission. 

    The screening test date as follows:
    1. June 20th, 2012
    i) School of Natural Science
    ii)School of Education
    iii)School of Arts
    2. June 21st, 2012
    i)School of Agriculture & Voc. Studies
    ii)School of Social Sciences
    3. June 22nd, 2012
    i)All Direct Entry Candidates for all the Schools.

    What to bring to the Exam hall
    1. Original JAMB Result Slip, (a href="http://www.myschoolcomm.com/school/admission-support/official-jamb-result-slip/">Get the JAMB SLIP here)
    2. Post UTME Acknowledgement slip obtained on registration with your phone number written on it.
    3. HB Pencil and Eraser
    4. Direct Entry/Post NCE applicants are to report with Original Copies of their NCE/OND results as well as their O' Level results.

    CAUTION: The following will not be allowed:
    1.Calculators
    2.Cell phones
    3.Other electronic gadgets
