  • Members of the Students' Representative Council S.R.C of the Federal University of Technology on the Eastern Heartland, Owerri (FUTO) on the 17th day of April, 2012 suspended the executive president to the Students Union Government, Comrade Elendu Otis.

    The allegation following this suspension among other things was due to a seven (7) count charges committed by the president in conspiracy with his counterpart, the Director of Transports Comr. Alloziem Chima.

    The two former members of the Executive board to the students union government was suspended till further notice, if not indefinitely.

    The motion for the legal action was moved by a majority faction of the SCR supported by the Dean of Students Affairs, Prof Remi Uche (A.K.A Hulala).
