    Howdo I close T account ? what do Bal.c/d and Bal. b/d really means ? Please explain with an example.

    • daniela udunwa bal c/d means balance carried down it is the amount you get at the end of an accounting period. while bal b/d means balance brought forward it is the amount you use to start a business and how you close a T account you subtract the side that has the highest amount from the side that has the lowest account and what you get is your balance carried down
