      In some ethnic groups like Igbo, in some states eating of snails is seen as a taboo cause of many beliefs and superstitions that snails causes harm physically and mentally.
      - Some superstitiously believe it prolong labour in child delivery in pregant women
      Some superstitiously believe it causes small pox
      Some superstitiously believe it causes excessive salivation in a newborn baby if the mother takes it during pregnancy
      Some superstitiously Believe it decreases physical stamina/ strength.
